A coconut water, some grapes and a bite of a sea salt and fudge cookie.
You don't have to be a complete tight ass and not ever enjoy sweets. But you MUST monitor your indulgence foods and snacks. Better choices are always available and of course the worst options are always available. It's up to you.
Always think balance. Alkaline life giving vs Acid, protein, carbs and flesh building. For every acid try to implement 2 to 3 alkaline foods or beverages.
Having a sandwich? Make sure there's greens on it and couple it with water and a squeeze of lemon, or coconut water, a green juice or a kombucha. Sugary beverages, sodas and fruit juices from concentrate are just tipping the scales onto the acid side when consumed with bread, rice, potatoes or pasta.
